More than a source of sustenance, food especially when cooked from the heart, can play the role of a storyteller. It can also play the role of an ambassador, and even a precursor for journeys to come. Recipes can draw attention to their respective countries of origin and methodologies in the kitchen can impress upon people the fine tastes an impressive disciplines that govern the place from which they came from. All things considered, food is a potent force in an industry such as tourism and, through this issue, we wish to celebrate its power.
